The list of fans of Yoko Ono It is quite long and some of them shared the stage with her in a historic concert at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles (USA) in October 2010. Among the guests to participate with Ono were Lady Gaga, Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore, RZA, Perry Farrell and Iggy Pop. With the latter the Japanese sang 'Waiting for the D Train', a duet that became one of the stellar moments of the night.

This year Yoko Ono and Iggy Pop have decided to officially release this anthological duet as a limited edition single that will also include a studio cover version of Ono's song. 'I'm Going Away Smiling'.

The proceeds of this single will be used for a charitable purpose. It will be delivered directly to Paws 4 You Rescue from Miami, an animal recovery center specially chosen by Iggy Pop. This edition will also include a thousand vinyl records that on the back will carry an engraving of Yoko Ono herself, available for sale from September 13. Previously on August 13 the songs will be available in digital format through the Chimera Music website.
