Today begins the 53rd Valladolid International Film Week, popularly known as SEMINCI, a festival that lasts until November 1, and which today will have an opening gala.
And what better way to start a festival than with cinema, and with a Jordanian film, Captain Abu Raid", that is, "Captain Aburaid », which is the first film in this country to be nominated for the Oscars.
But this will not be the only act of the inauguration, because the scriptwriter and director Gonzalo Suárez will receive an award from the hands of Juan Jose Millás, which will serve as recognition for all your professional work. Throughout the festival he will be honored. And they will do it with a thematic cycle, about their 40 years of experience.
The inaugural gala will be presented by Jose Toledo and actor Jorge Sanz, and in the same, Carlos Saura will deliver the Spike of Honor to Elías Querejeta, a producer with a long career, whose latest work also enters the competition SEMINCI.
This is not the only production that can be seen today at SEMINCI.
