After seeing the teaser, the official trailer of "The Hunger Games", the film adaptation of the first installment of the successful science fiction literary trilogy written by Suzanne Collins.
Directed by Gary Ross, the film tells the story of a post-apocalyptic future where a tyrannical government called the Capitol dominates the country of Panem, divided into twelve districts. This Government obliges each of the districts to deliver a boy and a girl to celebrate the annual games called 'Hunger Games', a fight to the death broadcast live on television.
Among the actors, Jennifer Lawrence is Katniss Everdeen, one of the participants of the games. They also appear in the movie Elizabeth banks, Stanley Tucci, Liam Hemsworth y Woody Harrelson. The premiere will be on March 23, 2012.
