The legends of heavy metal Judas Priest have launched a new song called «Redeemer Of Souls«, Which will be included in his new studio album to be released by Epic / Columbia on July 11, and we can already listen to the single. This new job will come six years after your previous studio job, 'Nostradamus', published in 2008. Guitarist Glenn Tipton commented:

There will be no wild experimentations in this new work with respect to the past, we have decided to focus on what we know how to do best and the result has been 18 songs in pure metal signed Priest.

This record of Judas Priest it will mark the debut of guitarist Richie Faulkner (also a member of Lauren Harris's band, the daughter of Iron Maiden's Steve Harris). Faulkner joined the band replacing KK Downing, who left in 2011.

Judas Priest is a British heavy metal group considered one of the most important and influential in the history of the genre. Founded in 1971 by KK Downing, Ian Hill, Al Atkins and John Ellis, they originally adopted the name Freight, but Atkins suggested the name Judas Priest, from his previous band, as he disliked it. They officially debuted in 1974, without Ellis and Atkins, who were replaced by John Hinch and Rob Halford respectively, and with Glenn Tipton as the new guitarist.

The group is usually considered one of the bands that finished defining the sound of heavy metal, a process started by Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, among others, and continued by them and the also British Iron Maiden.
