About three months ago, Vetusta Morla and the Murcia Region Symphony Orchestra offered two evenings of meeting between rock and classical in which they reinterpreted songs from the band's two albums. The initiative was sponsored by professors from Narciso Yepes Conservatory of Lorca and thirteen arrangers from different origins participated in it, who signed the orchestral revision of the songs.
On September 11, at dawn from Monday to Tuesday, La2 of TVE will broadcast a 60-minute extract of these concerts, within the Summer Festivals program. At the same time, on the group's website, the entire concert can be viewed and the recording of the event will be offered in digital format.
May download the full recital in exchange for a donation to help continue with the rehabilitation of the Narciso Yepes de Lorca Conservatory, which was left out of use due to the damage caused by the earthquake that affected the town on May 11, 2011.
The objective of the project was precisely to help seal the cracks in the Lorca conservatory, as well as to draw the spotlight on the reconstruction of Lorca, removed from the priorities of the institutions due to the passage of time and the omnipresent economic crisis.
