After closing a cycle of theater evenings in Madrid, Vetusta Morla is preparing to embark on a new american tour. But before the group will stop in London to participate in a series of events for the dissemination of Spanish music called Rock Sin Subtitles (March 10), the band will visit various cities in the United States and Mexico to present their second album, «Maps» , released last year.
They will play American land in New York (March 12 and 13), to then go to Austin, where they will be protagonists in the festival South by southwest, a colossal gathering of musicians, promoters, filmmakers and creators from all over the planet who literally take over the public spaces of this Texan city. Chicago (20) and Washington (21) complete the stops on US soil, before crossing the southern border and continuing towards Mexico.
There they will perform a series of concerts among which their participation in the Vive Latino festival (March 23), one of the biggest musical events in Latin America, both quantitatively and qualitatively. The Vive Latino organization has invited Vetusta Morla for the third time for this 2012 edition in which artists such as Kasabian, Fatboy Slim or Madness will participate and, in the Spanish-speaking scene, Molotov, Bunbury and Zoé, among many others.
