Nick Mason remembered the late Rick Wright

Drummer of Pink flyd Nick Mason remembered the recently deceased Richard Wright and said that without him, «The band would never have been what it was«.

Mason told Entertainment Weekly that “Pink Floyd would not have been Pink Floyd without Rick, because the sound of the band is more than a bass, a drums or a guitar ... And Rick was the sound that united everything«.

Furthermore, he stated that Wright was'the calmest of the group, the one who made himself the least known because of his character. And after 40 years, maybe we didn't know him at all«.

Wirht died Monday at age 65 after a tough battle with cancer. He formed the original Pink Floyd in 1965 alongside Mason, Roger Waters and Syd Barrett and wrote songs like «paint box","Remember a day" Y "Summer '68«, Besides singing in the classic«Echoes«.
