Rick Wright of Pink Floyd passes away

Unfortunate news for the music world: he has died Rick Wright, original member of Pink Floyd. Keyboardist and vocalist died today at 65, after a tough battle against cancer.

Wright formed the original Floyd in 1965 with Nick Mason, Roger Waters, and Syd Barrett and wrote songs like "Paintbox","Remember a day" Y "Summer '68«, Besides singing in the classic«Echoes«.

After leaving the band in the 70s, Wright was part of the Live 8 reunion in 2005. Currently, he was supporting some live performances by David Gilmour. R.I.P.
