Hear what 'Electric' sounds like, the new Pet Shop Boys album

'Electric', the twelfth studio album in the career of Pet Shop Boys It will go on sale next July 15. 'Electric' comes almost by surprise just ten months after the publication of 'Elysium', his last album for the Emi - Parlophone label, after a relationship with this label of almost thirty years. 'Electric' returns the Pet Shop Boys to the path of dance music, leaving behind the 'art' stage of which it showed with 'Elysium'.

On the creative process of 'Electric', the singer Neil Tennant revealed a few weeks ago to the British press: “When we started working on this material, which had initially emerged as a Chris (Lowe) project, we agreed that it was not going to be the new PSB Disc 5. At first we felt it as a separate project, but finally last year we sat down and listening to all the material, we thought: What is this? Is it the 12th Pet Shop Boys album? The answer was automatic: Yes!

Produced by the Pet Shop Boys themselves together with the well-known Stuart price (Madonna, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue), 'Electric' is made up of a total of nine songs, and a special version for the Japanese market that includes two remixes of the single 'Axis'. This week the English duo decided to preview via streaming the entire new album, which is now available to listen to through the Rdio platform.
