Pet Shop Boys release single 'Axis' and new record label

The British duo Pet Shop Boys started the week with some important news. They announced that from now on all their new material will be released through their own record label called 'x2'. Also, last Monday the 30th, the duo released 'Axis', the first single from his upcoming album 'Electric'. In a statement posted on the official website, Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant announced:

«Electric -and all our future releases- will be released through our new record label and through Kobalt Label Services -the distributor-. The stamp is called 'x2' (for two). Chris thought of the name for math inspiration. It is possible that we will also release under this new label the record material of other artists in the future. Everything is possible. Neil x ».
