Kylie Minogue releases promo video for new single 'Skirt'

A few days ago the Australian singer Kylie Minogue launched the advance of 'Skirt', a totally unpublished song, coinciding with the celebration of her 45th birthday. Although there is still no release date or title for her next album, but as is almost customary, Kylie decided to make another preview to her followers, presenting last Thursday ( 13) a lyric-video of 'Skirt' and also an interview where the Australian pop diva gave some details about the new album, which she is currently recording in Los Angeles (USA).

The new video shows a striking audiovisual production where the lyrics of the song are followed by sensual images of the Australian. It was created with the stop-motion technique for which more than a thousand photographs recorded during a photo session were used, which the Australian Will davidson performed for three hours in the hotel room where the pop diva is staying in California.

The raw style of the video fits perfectly with the powerful synth base and the influence of the electronic 'dubstep' style, which sounds in the final version of 'Skirt', composed by the North American The-Dream, known for his collaborations on hits of Beyoncé and Britney Spears, and produced by the Scottish Dj Nom De Strip, known as Chris Elliott, who a few days ago advanced this song by uploading it to his Soundcloud account. The new album will be Kylie's first job at Roc Nation, the record label of rapper Jay-Z, which has Rihanna, Shakira, Solange Knowles, MIA and Mark Ronson in its star catalog.
