Iron Maiden: 'The Number of the Beast' is the most influential album of the last 60 years

Surprisingly Iron Maiden with his 1982 album 'The Number of the Beast' he won a British poll for the 'most influential album of the last 60 years'. The album outperformed Depeche Mode's' Violator 'and The Beatles' classic' Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band ', which came in at No. 2 and 3, respectively. It was a nationwide survey conducted by the HMV website.

The vocalist of Iron MaidenBruce Dickinson confessed to being "stunned" with the result, and said it was a testament to the loyalty of his fans. Fourth place went again to the Beatles with 'Abbey Road', while Pink Floyd appeared in fifth with 'The Dark Side of the Moon'.

9. Adele: 21 (3.07%)
10. The Beatles: White Album (2.60%)
