'MG'was composed in at Martin Gore's home studio in Santa Barbara. "I wanted to give this electronic music a science fiction sound, something very filmic," said the guitarist. Regarding the name, MG, said that since it is something instrumental, without a voice, he decided to follow the concept he did previously with Vince Clarck on the VCMG album. Gore's first solo album was 2003's 'Counterfeit'.
