martin gore announced the release of a new studio album: the leader of Depeche Mode will release on April 27 under the name of MG his second solo album, which will be completely instrumental. It will contain 16 songs and will be released by Mute Records. Here we can listen to the first song, «Europe Hymn«:

The work was composed in the home studio of martin gore in Santa Barbara. "I wanted to give this electronic music a science fiction sound, something very filmic," said the guitarist. Regarding the name, MG, said that since it is something instrumental, without a voice, he decided to follow the concept he did previously with Vince Clarck on the VCMG album. Gore's first solo album was 2003's 'Counterfeit'.

Martin Lee Gore (born in Dagenham, London, England, on July 23, 1961), is an English musician known for being the main composer, as well as keyboardist, guitarist and second vocalist of the electronic music group Depeche Mode. He is the author of well-known hit songs such as Personal Jesus, Enjoy the Silence, I Feel You, Walking in My Shoes, People Are People, Master and Servant, Everything Counts, Never Let Me Down Again, Strangelove, among others.
