This is the perfect example that only with talent can quality music be made. Yellow mellow (Melo) is a youtuber who became known singing versions of other songs, always accompanied by her guitar. After many videos and many hundreds of thousands of subscribers on their YouTube channels, Yellow Mellow has just released their first single, 'Phantom Limb', a mid-tempo track that ends up being completely round.
The level of production of 'Phantom Limb' it is as simple as it is elegant. Delicate from start to finish, Yellow Mellow sings of a broken relationship that she can't forget. The song sticks from the first verse to never detach. The video clip for 'Phantom Limb' is perhaps simple, although it shows what any Yellow Mellow fan has always seen in the videos on their channel, that Melo with hardly any makeup and doing what I do best: sing.
From here I take the opportunity to wish Yellow Mellow all the success that 'Phantom Limb' deserves, which I hope will be a lot. I'm already looking forward to a complete Melo album falling into my hands. If 'Phantom Limb' is just a start, the rest of the album has to be a real pleasure to discover.
