The management of public education is the central theme of «Won't Back Down»(No Hay Vuelta Tras), a film starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis from which we can see the first known trailer. Directed by Daniel Barnz, the 20th Century Fox film is inspired by real events that occurred in the United States.
In the story, the two actresses - already nominated for an Oscar - play two mothers from different backgrounds: one deals letters and the other is a reporter, but they join forces to try to change the increasingly deteriorated public education system, taking charge of a new school for the children of her neighborhood, attended by her own children.
Oscar Isaac, Holly Hunter, Rosie Perez, Lance Reddick and Emily Alyn Lind also perform and its North American theatrical release will be on September 28. «Won't Back Down»Was written by Brin Hill and the director Barnz himself and it seems like an interesting drama about a complex problem that we have to live in most countries.
