Oasis Chasing Sun 2014

An exhibition will soon be held in London (United Kingdom) that will have the British group Oasis as its central theme, and in which various objects, photographs and memorabilia related to the well-known band of the Gallagher brothers will be exhibited. Under the name of 'Chasing the Sun: Oasis 1993-1997', this thematic exhibition will open its doors from April 11 to 22 at the Londonewcastle Gallery in the Shoreditch district of London.

The date of the opening of the exhibition will coincide with the celebration of the 20 years since the launch of 'Supersonic', the first released single from Oasis. The sample 'Chasing the Sun' aims to cover the stage of the three key albums: 'Definitely Maybe', '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' and 'Be Here Now', as well as the group's legendary live performances at the 100 Club in London and their appearances at the massive Glastonbury and Knebworth festivals.

The London show will also feature a variety of vintage objects, instruments belonging to the band and photographs of Paul Slattery, Tom Sheehan, Kevin Cummins and Jamie Fry. The exhibition anticipates the next reissue of 'Definitely Maybe' which is scheduled for May 19, with a remastered version of the album and previously unreleased materials, such as live and acoustic versions of the songs and a copy of the original Oasis demo on cassette.
