Evil invasions

After a long vacation, I return with my movie reviews. I thought that the break for the cinema was going to give me new successes, but it turns out that I am again facing nonsense movies.

It is clear to me, from the outset,? that "The Invasion"It is a remake, (Later I find out that of the movie" Invasion of the Body Snatchers ", based on a novel by Based on the novel by Jack Finney with a similar title), but what is not clear to me is the intention of the producers of the film to bring back to the screen a film with resources used in many other SciFi, and that does not really convince the viewer, not even due to the participation of actors of the stature of Nicole Kidman y Daniel Craig.
The plot goes more or less like this: after the explosion of a space shuttle, whose remains end up in gardens throughout the United States, strange spores begin to cause strange behaviors in human beings, infecting human beings and robbing them their bodies with the intention of taking over the world (laughs…). People wake up being physically the same, but with the slight peculiarity that they have lost their feelings and want, at all costs, to infect the rest of healthy humans (more laughter…).
No, it's not a joke, that's how the movie goes. I keep counting. For things of fate the exposo of? psychiatrist Carol Bennell (Kidman), who is a senior US security official, is one of the first infected, and manages to infect her, while holding their son captive. Once infected, she cannot fall asleep because she is infected, so she will do her best to stay awake long enough to find her child.
As I write this I keep wondering what Nicole was doing when she agreed to make this movie. I still remember her trying to pretend she didn't want to have feelings and I wonder if that's a performance worthy of a winner of the Oscar.
What to say about Craig, maybe now Mr. 007, but until the kiss, I thought he was the gay friend of the protagonist. The rest is not even worth mentioning.
The direction was by the German Oliver Hirschbiegel, praised for his film Der Untergang, which chronicles the last days of Adolf Hitler, but which made the film look like a holocaust. Maybe a sci-fi movie didn't deserve a German beat? Or is it that the Kidman wanted to tie her ex-husband, by Tom Cruise, making your own alien movie like "War of the Worlds"? The truth I think we will not know, but I think this film was not beneficial at all for his ascending career. Hopefully it will soon be erased from our minds.

My recommendation: Don't watch it. For no reason.

My rating (1-5): 1
