We already have a new trailer for the long-awaited new Tom Cruise movie, Valkyrie, based on a real event and where he plays a Nazi who wanted to attack Hitler himself. The film is directed by Brian Singer of the X-Mens.
The film has suffered all kinds of problems: accidents on the set, controversies with the role of by Tom Cruise and different release dates. The good one seems to be next December 26th.
In the cast, apart from Tom Cruise, are: Kenneth Branag, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Carice Van Houten, Eddie Izzard, Christian Berkel, Thomas Kretschmann, Terence Stamp.
La movie synopsis is:
Based on real events. The "July 20 plot" to end Hitler's life is one of the most heroic and least known episodes of World War II. Severely wounded in combat, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg (Tom Cruise) returns from Africa to join the German resistance and help organize Operation Valkyrie, the complex plan for a shadow government to replace Hitler's once he was dead. . But fate and circumstance conspire to project Stauffenberg from one of the many implicated in the plot to a central double-edged role.
