U2 would release their next album in early 2014

Contradicting the claims of Bond A few weeks ago in which he claimed that the Irish group was in no rush to release their next album, bassist Adam Clayton revealed a few days ago that U2's new album it would be ready to launch during the first months of 2014.

Clayton also added that during these weeks the group is in the final stages of its production and putting the final touches of the new work, hoping to finish the work during the next month. When Clayton was asked in the recent radio interview about the music for the new album, the bassist replied: «I think the new job will be almost a return to the old U2, but marking with the musical maturity that we have achieved in the last ten years. The album is really a bunch of very interesting songs at the moment ».

Clayton says U2 is currently working on a dozen tracks for this album and adds: «Everything is going very well and we hope to have all ready by the end of november, and then we'll enjoy the parties ».
