With regards to No Line On The Horizon, the last work of the Irish U2, The Edge declared - for a well-known music magazine - that having spent time with Jack White and Jimmy Page, on the occasion of the recently released documentary It Might Get Loud, definitely influenced his style in songs.

"I was fascinated to see Jimmy play those riffs so simply, as well as what Jack did."He said.
Bond for his part, he said that the songs on the album have been inspired by events that are currently happening:
"In this album one can feel what is happening in the world"He mentioned.
