Rumors about the upcoming album by U2, which is already in its last phase of production and could have a tentative release date for the month of april 2014. The Irish group would be negotiating to make the announcement of this launch through a commercial specially made to broadcast during the halftime of the Super Bowl final, at the beginning of February.
Some of this information has been revealed by the band's own manager, Paul McGuinness, who is currently in negotiations to sell his company, Principle Management, and the representation of the successful Irish to the American production company Live Nation, Inc. (Madonna, Lady Gaga, Shakira ...). McGuinness has represented U2 for thirty-five years and has decided at age 64 to retire from the music industry.
About this new album by U2, is being co-produced by Danger Mouse (Brian Burton), known for his work alongside Gnarls Barkley, Broken Bells and Jay-Z, and has been primarily recorded and mixed at the legendary Electric Lady studios in New York. At the end of November U2 will release a 10-inch single for Back to Black Friday of 'Record Store Day', which contains the new single 'Ordinary Love', a song specially composed for the biopic of 'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom' and will also include a new version of 'Breathe'.
