After the closing of the tour Wave goodbye, Nine Inch Nails, through its leader Trent reznor, announced that they will record a new album in close collaboration with the British singer Gary Numan.
The idea came after the band and Numan shared the stage at shows in Los Angeles, where fans of each other were more than satisfied with the result.
Invited to the concert by his friend Reznor, Numan admitted to having his doubts before the introductions, but that all the fears disappeared when they began to interpret the songs: «For some reason, I thought there would be a very different atmosphere than what I found on stage. I believed that magic would not happen. But it was really very warm and welcoming and the Nine Inch Nails were very receptive and made me feel welcome. "
Gary Numan himself anticipated that rehearsals and recordings will begin later this year or early next. The work between these two great artists is thus confirmed; a combination that might surprise you.
