Next Friday the new film by Chus Gutiérrez will be released, RETURN TO HANSALA that, after three nominations at the Goya Awards and numerous awards at different international festivals, has finally arrived in our rooms.
The story that Return to Hansala will present to us will be that of a shipwrecked boat leaving a dozen inert bodies on the beach and who knows how many more in the sea. Martín, who is in his forties, has a twelve-year-old daughter and has recently separated from his wife; He runs a funeral home in Algeciras and is going through innumerable financial and legal problems. After receiving a call from the Civil Guard, he goes to the scene of the accident and, while collecting the bodies, he sees a corpse with a clenched fist imprisoning a piece of paper. A phone number has been written down and Martín, already in his office, calls. On the other side of the line, Leila, a Moroccan woman who works night hours in the Malaga food market, responds. The two will go on an unexpected journey.
