The Argentine movie Sangre del Pacífico marks the debut of actor and conductor Boy Olmi as a filmmaker, in a drama with historical background.

For his first film foray, Boy Olmi assembled a cast headed by the Uruguayan Delfi Galbiati and the young and rising Ana Celentano, which comes from the box office film by Marcelo Piñeyro, Thursday's widows. They complete the cast of actors Emilia Paino, Ezequiel Diaz, Norma Argentina, Moro Anghileri, and the great Chinese Skunk, in a minor role but no less important for that.

The plot counts the days of George (Galbiati), an old actor who intends to film a movie about the wars of Latin American Independence. While Jorge devises the film, he arrives at the house Charity (Paino), a young Peruvian maid, who awakens an unusual obsession in the artist. To all this, Jorge's daughter, Sara, will help you confront ghosts from the past, amid dreams, visions and fantasies that bring a surreal touch to the film.

The script was the work of Boy Olmi, and was also present in the production tasks, together with Ricardo Freixa. Sangre del Pacífico premiered a few weeks ago in Argentine cinemas, and can now be enjoyed in various rooms.
