Sony brings us the ttrailer of 'Extinction', the new film by Spanish director Miguel Ángel Vivaswho I knowrose to fame in 2010 with 'Kidnapped'.

Five years ago it was done with award for the best film in the horror category of the prestigious Austin Film Festival and so far it has not shot again for the big screen, although it brought us the first chapter of the miniseries 'Tell me a story', entitled 'The three little pigs'.

The young Spanish filmmaker returns to theaters with 'Extinction', in this case a thriller set in a post-apocalyptic future with international cast in which we found matthew foh, Jeffrey DonovanAhna O'ReillyQuinn McColgan y Clara Lago.

The synopsis goes like this: «Nine years after an infection would turn much of humanity into savage creatures and without intellect, Patrick, Jack and Lu, a nine-year-old girl, survive in apparent tranquility in Harmony, a forgotten corner, covered by perennial snow. However, something terrible happened between Patrick and Jack and a deep hatred survives between them. When the creatures reappear, Patrick and Jack must put their resentment behind them to protect what they love most. "

'Extinction' will hit the billboard this summer, specifically the 14 August.
