When I said that the Swedes had the new golden goose by getting the rights to make the film Millennium trilogy I was not wrong because in Spain the first part, Men who did not love women, has already been seen by more than a million and a half viewers with a box office of almost 9 million euros. In addition, in the rest of the world, except in the USA, where it has not yet been released, it has also been a box office success.
The second part of the trilogy, The girl who dreamed of a match and a can of gasoline, It has just been released in the Scandinavian countries, achieving No. 1 at the box office in all. In Spain it will be released on October 23rd and it will surely also achieve the No. 1 of the most viewed.
In this second part, of course, the main actors repeat and there is only one change in the direction from Niels Arden Oplev to Tomas Alfredson.
I'm not telling you what this second part is about in case you haven't finished the book yet.
