This Friday the American and Spanish co-production opens My life in ruins, directed by Donald Petrie, and which has been filmed for the most part in the studios of La Ciudad de La Luz in Almería. Hence, Spain has also put money to make this production that hopes to repeat the success of Tom Hanks, as producer, and Nia Vardalos, as main actress, in the film My Great Greek Wedding.
Spanish actresses María Botto and María Adánez appear in the cast, playing some small supporting roles.
The cast consists of Nia Vardalos, Richard Dreyfuss, Alexis Georgoulis, Caroline Goodall and Rachel Dratch.
My life in ruins tells the story of a tourist guide (Nia Vardalos) and her peculiar group of tourists on a trip to Greece where everything will happen and, as usual in romantic comedies, love will finally triumph.
