Although 'Exodus: Gods and Kings', the feature film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Christian Bale released in December 2014, did not seem to have convinced the press, it seems that the film industry has not taken it into account and has decided to produce another blockbuster inspired by Egypt: 'Gods of Egypt', a film directed by Alex Proyas ('I, robot)' of which We can already see a first and spectacular trailer and the first posters created by Lisa Frank.
'Gods of Egypt' will be based on Egyptian mythology and gods, although although it is true there will be a strong supernatural and magical component. In the cast, we find Gerard Butler, who will play Set, the God of War, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, known for his role as Jaime Lannister in 'Game of Thrones', and who will now play the very Horus, the God From Heaven, to Chadwick Boseman as Thot, the God of Wisdom, Elodie Yung as Hathor, the Goddess of Love, Brenton Thwaites as a mortal named Bek, and Courtney Eaton, Bek's beloved named Zaya.
As they inform us The main plot of the film will focus on a battle between Set and Bek, who will have the help of Horus to defeat him. The point is that the God of War usurped the throne of Egypt, sowing enormous chaos and conflict along the way. Also, in his fierce fight against the God, Bek will embark on an exciting journey to save and rescue his true love. The God Horus and the mortal must overcome complex and amazing tests of bravery everywhere and sacrifice body and soul to see hope where there is only destruction.
