The director Joe Dante (Gremlins) returns to the cinema, after spending many years dedicating himself to television, with the suspense film «The Hole» which, of course, will be released in 3D. What a novelty, right?
This film will tell us the story of a family, made up of a mother and her two young children, who move to a new house to live.
The two children, along with the neighbor next door, discover in the basement a strange locked door that they manage to open and discover that it is a hole that seems to have no bottom. In addition, the three will begin to suffer strange situations.
Finally, I must confess that, after seeing the trailer, I rectify and more than a suspense movie it is an adventure movie for the youngest.
The young actors are the unknown Chris Massoglia, Nathan Gamble and Haley Bennett.
There is still no release date for this film neither in the USA nor in Spain.
