This weekend the Italian film opens in Spain "Welcome to the south", remake of the well-known French hit "Welcome to the North", directed by Luca Miniero.
As in France, this film became the biggest box office success of an Italian film in years last year.
The script is the work of Luca Miniero and Massimo Gaudioso (Gomorrah) and will tell us the story of Alberto, a manager of a post office in a beautiful city in northern Italy who, pressured by his wife, is willing to do anything to get a transfer to Milan. His attempts to get promotion are a disaster and as a punishment he is transferred to a small town in the south, a true nightmare for a inhabitant of the north. To his surprise, nothing will be as he expected.
