French cinema is achieving important box office successes such as Welcome to the North, Coco, released a few weeks ago in our country and, now, this Friday, the movie lol, one of the last successes of French cinema that managed to bring more than 4 million spectators to theaters.
Lol, short for Lola, is a 16-year-old French girl whose world is high school and her children, although she also maintains a tense relationship with her estranged parents.
Apparently the film, directed by Lisa Azuelos, also the author of the script, reflects quite well the family situation of the French bourgeois class and, above all, of adolescents.
The cast includes Sophie Marceau, Christa Theret, Jérémy Kapone, Marion Chabassol, Lou Lesage, Émile Bertherat, Félix Moati, Louis Sommer, Adèle Choubard, Jade-Rose Parker, Warren Guetta, Alexandre Astier and Jocelyn Quivrin.
