More and more Argentine cinema comes to our country, especially in co-production but this Friday a 100% Argentine film is released, the comedy A boyfriend for my wife scored by Juan Taratuto.
Although the plot of a couple who wants to separate and one of them contacts another to link up with the opposite party is very hackneyed, seeing it from the Argentine point of view has its grace.
La synopsis of a boyfriend for my wife is:
El Tenso (Adrián Suar) does not know how to tell his wife, Tana (Valeria Bertuccelli), that he wants to separate, since the relationship is untenable due to his terrible character. She lives constantly in a bad mood: if she doesn't protest about time, it's because of the government; if it is not for the neighbors, it is for the young, or for the old ... or whatever. Carlos, a friend of Tenso, suggests reversing the problem ... and causing Tana to abandon him. How? El Tenso wonders, and Carlos presents him with a proposal: to turn to Cuervo Flores (Gabriel Goity), an irresistible old seducer who will seduce his wife into falling in love so that Tenso finally finds the solution to his problems.
