«The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel» achieved great success in 2011, receiving two nominations for the Golden Globes, best comedy film and best comedy actress for Judi Dench and was one step away from being present at the Academy Awards.
Now this year John Madden, an irregular director who has in his filmography with great films like "Shakespeare in Love", but also with big fiascos like "Captain Corelli's mandolin", returns with the second installment of the adventures in this hotel for the elderly under the title of "The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel".
The cast of the first film is repeated by interpreters such as Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy o Dev patel and new additions join such as Richard Gere, David strathairn y Tamsin greig.
Scripted, once again, by O and music from the great Thomas NewmanNominated twelve times for an Oscar, eleven for best soundtrack and one for best song without winning a single statuette, the film will hit Spanish cinemas in March 2015.
