In short, "Machete" will tell us the story of this character, played by Danny Trejo, a federal police officer from Mexico who has been expelled from the body after being blackmailed by capo Torrez (Steven Seagal). Not quite liking him, Machete is forced to accept an offer from a doctor (Jeff Fahey) who plans to assassinate a corrupt senator named McLaughlin (Robert De Niro). Between two fires and while escaping, Machete will enlist the help of Luz (Michelle Rodriguez), a specialist in spicy comments, Father (Cheech Marin), her "holy" brother, and April (Lindsay Lohan) a girl from the high society with a predilection for weapons. As he unravels the whole plot, he will be chased by Sartana (Jessica Alba), a sexy ICE agent.
