Trailer of "Les ponts de Sarajevo" by various directors

The ponts of Sarajevo

Here we have the trailer for «The ponts of Sarajevo«, A film that has brought together more than a dozen of the best filmmakers and that will be screened at the Cannes film festival as part of the special screenings.

As did «paris je t'aime»And later versions totally forgotten and forgettable,« Les ponts de Sarajevo »brings us closer to a city to show us different stories with the only link that the place where they occur.

On this occasion it seems that the stories will be more dramatic when they occur in one of the most punished cities in recent times. Another peculiarity is that the episodes they compose are documentaries unlike the rest of the projects with the same pattern.

Among the directors who have collaborated on this project we find great filmmakers such as Jean-Luc Godard or Sergei Loznitsa, both with another of their works in Cannes, or the Catalan director Marc Recha.

Highlight the curiosity that the great exponents of the cinema of the former Yugoslavia, the Bosnian Goran Paskaljevic and the Serbian Emir Kusturica, have not participated in the project to everyone's surprise.

They direct the different episodes of the film Aida begic ("Children of Sarajevo"), Leonardo di Costanzo ("L'intervallo"), Jean-Luc Godard ("Film socialisme"), Kamen kalev ("The Island"), isild lebesco ("Bas-Fonds"), Sergei Loznitsa ("My Joy"), Vincenzo Mara ("Il gemello"), Ursula Mayer ("Sister"), Vladimir Perišić ("Ordinary People"), Christi Puiu ("Trois exercices d'interprétation"), Marc Recha ("Petit indi"), Angela Schanelec ("Orly") and Teresa Villaverde ("Swan").
