Based on an account by William Gay, That evening sun tells us the story of Abner Meecham, an old man who decides to spend his last days on his old farm in Tennessee. Trouble will appear as soon as you arrive, and you discover that your son has rented the property to a former enemy of yours.
In the cast they stand out Hal Holbrook, Walton Goggins and Carrie Preston, in addition to that great promise of indie cinema called Mia Wasikowska, whom we will see shortly in Tim Burton's Alice.
The film is directed by the newcomer Scott teems, who was also in charge of adapting the script, and is funded by the independent production company Double Jay Creative.
