This Friday the Vietnamese film opens "Five days in Saigon" which has triumphed in numerous festivals and has been praised by specialized critics but in Spain no one will see it because it has not been promoted and, furthermore, there is no trailer for the film, not even subtitled in Spanish.
The film tells us several stories that will intersect: the story of a flight attendant in love with a pilot who does not feel the same way about her; a girl who works, almost in slavery, in a bamboo factory at the age of 10, so she decides to flee to the city and a young man who is a zookeeper who maintains more communication with the animals he cares for than with humans.
Five days in Saigon It was directed by Stephane Gauger and it has taken almost two years to reach our theaters because it is a 2007 production.
