A few weeks ago we were talking about accident involving American actor Tracy Morgan, in which the car in which he and some friends were traveling was hit by a Walmart truck, a well-known chain of shopping centers, seriously injuring him as well as some of his friends and one of them died.
As Lewis Kay, the actor's publicity agent, advanced, Morgan has been discharged although a long recovery and rehabilitation awaits him, which he will continue to do from his home with a new system to which he will be subjected, but the thing will not stop there but rather has sued Walmart.
According to the complaint that was filed against the truck driver, Kevin Roper, it was learned that this worker had not slept for more than 24 hours before the accident, which incurs a crime of neglect and that in addition to getting into trouble driver, it will also make it to the well-known chain of stores, dirtying its reputation.
From Walmart they have assured that they recognize that the accident is a tragedy and that they expect a speedy recovery of all those affected, although surely that will not save them from the possible millionaire sanction to which they are exposed for charges that are imputed to having a worker with so much time without sleep and going faster than allowed among other charges, which caused this accident to happen.
