Director Tony Scott is preparing a new movie that can be really interesting. After a consolidated career with films such as Spy Game, Deja vu o Pelham Train Robbery123, insists on bringing to the big screen a thorn that has been nailed down for a long time: "Potsdamer Platz".
For this project he wants to have the three actors of the moment: Javier Bardem, Jason Statham and Mickey Rourke, the latter a close friend of the director. What's more Scott wants to count on a real heavyweight at all costs, Gene Hackman, but this one has been retired for a few years and it seems that he is not quite ready to get in front of the cameras again.
This film tells us about a crime drama that focuses mainly on two members of a powerful New Jersey mafia family who want to grow and expand internationally.
According to statements by Tony Scott, he intends to begin filming at the end of the year since the script is fully completed and has his approval. At the moment there is already contact with the representatives of the actors, but it is unknown whether they will accept or not; the doubt is served.
