After decades of litigation between the seal of Jimi Hendrix, Experience Hendrix LLC (owned by the guitarist's family) and Sony Music's Legacy Recordings, finally both companies reached an agreement to publish unreleased recordings of the legendary guitarist. Under this agreement, it has been established that in the next three years this unreleased material will be presented with a new edition, mixing and mastering that will be in charge of Eddie Kramer, a veteran producer who worked with Hendrix for a long time.

The company in charge of Hendrix's estate finally has the rights to 88 studio and live recordings that the guitarist made between 1965 and 1967, when he was part of the R&B group. Curtis Knight & the Squires.

In the masters that will be produced again, he has unreleased material, such as a live recording in Hackensack (New Jersey, USA) from December 1965, in addition to other sessions that Curtis Knight and the Squires did with Hendrix in 1966 after the debut of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, 'Are You Experienced'. Before reaching world fame, the mythical guitarist played alongside important figures of the time such as the Isley Brothers, Little Richard and Curtis Knight as a session musician.
