The Mauritanian tape «Timbuktu»Was the great winner of the 40th edition of the César Awards.
The film of Abderrahmane sissako, two days before the Oscars in which it represents Mauritania in the category of non-English-speaking film emergence, it has won up to seven César Awards, including those for best film, best direction and best original screenplay.
