Tim Burton to direct two Disney movies

Although it sounds a bit strange considering that Burton does not make films for children precisely (or does?), the fact is that we must remember that the director of the imminent Sweeney Todd, already worked with the Disney as a cartoonist but they put him on the street because his designs were not very in line with the company. But the fact is that afterwards they put the pasta to make Nightmare Before Christmas y Ed Wood.

Now they want Burton to shoot two animation projects, one is a new adaptation of Alice in Wonderland of Lewis Carroll but in the Burton manner evidently, and the other is frankenweeenie, which is based on a short film shot by the director in 1984. The first will be a project shot with CGI like Beowulf, and the second in 3D.
