It was last month that we had the latest news about FFS, the band created by the members of Franz Ferdinand and the two founding brothers of the sophisti-pop duo Sparks, Ron and Russell Mael. These days one of the themes of the first and self-titled FFS album. This first single is entitled 'Piss Off'. In addition, the single has been accompanied by the release date of the LP: June 8, by the Domino Records label.
This is how Alex Kapranos, the vocalist of Franz Ferdinand, about this new project: “This all started to emerge when both bands played the Coachella festival a couple of years ago. Although many times people promise to collaborate together and nothing ever happens, this time we kept moving forward and exchanging ideas and suddenly we already had six songs composed, and we realized that this was already in the form of a new album ». FFS have had the collaboration of producer John Congleton, who already worked with both groups, in addition to having worked together with figures such as Sigur Ros, Bryan Byrne, St. Vincent and Nelly Furtado among others.
