They pay 38000 euros for a Marilyn Monroe tape

60000 dollars, about $38000 approximately, it is the amount they paid at auction for a recording of the filming of the last finished film of Marilyn Monroe.

The tape contains 47 minutes taken from two 8-millimeter tapes of color film, during the filming of Rebellious lives (1961) and showed Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Montgomery-Clift, Thelma Ritter and to the director, John Huston, Behind the cameras.

The auction took place in Las Vegas, at the Planet Hollywood hotel and casino, and in addition to this little gem, there were also many more items from Hollywood's golden age to be found.
