In May one of the festivals the world's leading multicultural womad which takes place in the province of Cáceres (Spain), which from May 7 to 10 will have the participation of 25 groups from all continents.
Among the groups, there will be five from Extremadura (Carlos Ojeda, Laura, Spring Folk, Unwashable y West Alembic) and the chosen scenarios were the Plaza Mayor; for workshops and concerts the squares of San Jorge and Las Veletas, while in the squares of Santa María and San Pablo there will be the stalls of the "Global Market and World Foods".
Among the Spanish groups are DePedro, The Shica y Mayte Martín and also others like Amadou and Marian, Salif Keita y SMOD, from Mali; Velvety, from Colombia; BLK JKS, from South Africa; Eliades Ochoa, from Cuba; Hindi Zara, from France; and Mor karbassi, From Israel.
