The famous director of classics like The Fog and The Thing returns to the cinema with his new movie, TheWard.
Psychological horror thriller, The Ward (something like The room) is focused on the torments he lives Kristen, a difficult young woman who is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, where she is constantly abused and drugged. Wrapped in total amnesia, she has no recollection of why or how she was confined, and neither the nurses nor the patients with whom she shares the room seem overly interested in providing her with information.
Little by little, Kristen will begin to notice that the place hides something strange, something terrifying, that is present when night falls. As if not enough for scares, her roommates will begin to mysteriously disappear, and Kristen will be tied to a race against time, not to disappear.
The cast head it Amber Heard, Danielle Panabaker, Mamie Gummer, and Jared Harris. Its arrival in theaters is scheduled for next year.
