The films shortlisted to the Oscar for best animated short film, ten works that will fight for the candidacy for the Academy Award in this category.
Spanish cinema is in luck as it can be represented at the Oscars if it is finally shortlisted "The Fall of the House of Usher" by Raul Garcia ends up obtaining the nomination, a film that on the other hand has not been pre-selected for the Goya.

Michaela Pavlátová brings joy to the cinema of the Czech Republic by seeing her short film shortlisted "Tram", a film that seems to be one of the great favorites after winning the Best Short Film and Fipresci Awards at the Annecy Film Festival this year.
Japanese animation could not miss this appointment and will be represented by the film "Fuel" by Katsuhiro Otomo.
Finally, the film produced by Walt Disney "Paperman" by John Kahrs is another one that will try to get the nomination.
