Glen matlock, the bassist of the The Sex Pistols, has come out to say that his band is considering record a new album for next year.
He explained that while rumors that they were working on new material last summer were somewhat exaggerated, there is a possibility that the punk band led by John Lydon enter the recording studios in the 2009.
"The Sex Pistols? Well, we have returned to activity little by little this year… we will meet again next year to decide which way to go.
In the summer we were not recording a new album ... I think journalists invented all that, but you see, you never know"He said.
"We all have some ideas but this new album… it's a double-edged sword if you don't do it as good as the previous one… and if you don't, people will want to know why.
Deep down we have the last word ... we are the only ones who will decide our future"He added.
