Producer Fox Searchlight shows us the trailer for «The Sessions«, Film based on the writings
autobiographical writings of California journalist and poet Mark O'Brien. Starring John Hawkes (Winter's Bone), Helen Hunt, and William H. Macy, the plot tells the story of a man (Hawkes) confined to an iron lung who is determined, at age 38, to lose his virginity.
With the help of his therapists and the guidance of a parent, he sets out to make it happen. To do this, she will hire a professional who helps her approach the process in six sessions (Hunt) and an eccentric priest (Macy) who listens and guides her spiritually.
«The Sessions»Is written and directed by Ben Lewin, and will be released in theaters on October 26, in a limited version. The film at the last Sundance Film Festival won the Audience Award for Best Picture.
